Virtual Tour > Introduction
Welcome to the Clarion Bathware Virtual Plant Tour. This tour begins at our production facility in Marble, PA. Let's go inside and learn how a Clarion Bathware unit is manufactured.

Each Clarion Bathware product begins with a well designed pattern.  In this picture, the mold shop supervisor is finishing work on the pattern for Clarion’s RE4272D soaker tub. When a pattern is complete, a master is made.  Molds to produce the part are then made from the master.

A well-maintained mold is essential in the production of fiberglass products.  To produce a quality product, molds must be inspected regularly and any problems must be corrected.  In this picture, a mold maintenance technician carefully inspects a mold for any problems.

In this picture, a mold maintenance technician is performing a repair on a mold.  All of Clarion Bathware’s molds go through a thorough preventive maintenance program to ensure that our customers receive a quality product.

Molds must be perfectly clean to ensure proper application of the gel-coat to the mold.  Molds are wiped free of dust with a special cloth called a “tack cloth” before gel-coat is applied to the mold.
